Our Story — How It All Started

Check out Episode 1 of our podcast Nourish Your Worth for a more in-depth conversation about how we met and our work history together!

Our more recent business venture, Twenty Concierge Wealth Management "Twenty," began with our coloring book. At the time, we were each pursuing education in behavioral science—Daniele studying Client Psychology through the Wharton Executive Education program and Kelli training in art therapy facilitation at UCLArts & Healing—and looking for a way to help other people on a broad scale.

Kelli was working on personal projects in coloring books designed to provide educational information alongside her illustrations. Daniele was building an independent financial advisory practice around helping independent clients learn how to take control of their finances. The idea to create a coloring book around financial literacy was exciting and natural for us to take on in August 2021.

As our work progressed and professional exploits lined up, we had an aha moment about our ability to combine our skills to formalize our partnership through Twenty. The focus was to help clients manage their assets with a focus on behavioral science and the underlying growth and experience of the individuals we seek to serve. Twenty was born in January 2022 and quickly became the use case for lessons we wanted to impart through our book—the content wrote itself from the work we were doing with real clients.

With the limitations of the one-to-one service scale, we remained focused on driving our book forward to reach one-to-many to help as many people as possible at all different wealth levels. The experiences we shared with our clients and our education in behavioral science fleshed the book out from financial literacy-meets-coloring to include reflective exercises, creative expression, and self-care tips and tools.

We are thrilled to have released Financial Wellness to the market in September 2022 and are currently working on expanding the materials into workshops in the coming months.
